Rumi says, “A Heart filled with Love is like a Phoenix that no cage can imprison..”
During the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) I was isolated for 2 months and then remained in Hospital for a 3rd consecutive month.
Was it a good time? Yes, I spent some memorable times there. I’m sure you’re saying now that I’m crazy, but I just need you to think deeply about this quote by Sigmund Freud that states, “One day, in retrospect, the years of struggle will strike you as the most Beautiful..”
Just think about that, how could our most terrible times be seen and described as beautiful? Well, I did have this feeling.. Every time I go back to these rooms to visit a cancer patient who’s going through the same pain that I endured, a warm feeling invades my Heart. I know that there’s a secret in these rooms, that some sort of a Miracle happened and kept me alive.. and for that I’m forever grateful for the blessing that God granted me..
So my time in BMT was a good time spent, but I can’t hide that I terribly missed my FREEDOM there.. Perhaps, one of Human Being’s most precious belongings is his right to do whatever he wants at any given time. The idea of Freedom was instilled in the Holy Bible as a major virtue that every human being should possess and be able to enjoy!
Hasn’t William Wallace been hanged screaming out “FREEDOM”!
